Tour 1 – In the footsteps of Marguerite
Ideal for those new to trail running or for a lively workout. This enjoyable route offers a variety of challenges with an elevation gain that gradually increases: a decent climb at the start, followed by a steeper ascent as you approach the Mont Noir.
You’ll ride along single tracks and wide paths through the countryside, before heading back down through the park Marguerite Yourcenar to bring things full circle.

Circuit 2 – The Monts mountain range
The perfect route for planning your long ride. With 30 km and over 700 m of elevation gain, … it features numerous climbs that require you to stay alert. A real treat for the legs thanks to the varied terrain and a route that lends itself to changes of pace, not to mention the scenery that is a feast for the eyes.
A must-see stop in the park Marguerite Yourcenar, Mont des Cats Abbey, the The Mill of Ingratitude, the hop fields, oratories and chapels : a tour rich in heritage.

Route 3 – From the mill to the Abbey
After a fairly smooth first third of the journey to Boeschepe, the Mont des Cats offers more challenging trails, with a series of steeper ascents and descents. The final two kilometres allow for a more leisurely finish on a route that is mostly downhill.
Whether you’re out for a leisurely stroll or a more strenuous hike, keep your eyes peeled to take in the heritage around you: oratories, chapels, the Moulin de l’Ingratitude, the Mont des Cats Abbey… The Flanders region is brimming with treasures, some of which are listed as Historic Monuments!

Route 4 – Heading for La Trappe
Start at the Moulin de l’Ingratitude and head to the Mont des Cats at Mont Noir ! The start alternates between short climbs and descents, followed by a flatter section near Berthen. You’ll have the pleasure of completing a loop around Marguerite Yourcenar Park, a sensitive natural area, before climbing Mont Noir through a majestic wood in Saint-Jans-Cappel.
We then head out into the countryside and the hop fields further north, before making our way to the finish line along wide paths interspersed with roads, dotted with unusual, colourful wayside shrines.

Circuit 5 – Not Without Fraud
5 km – adjust the distance to suit your preferences : beginners, recovery or interval training! This easy route lets you enjoy the countryside and the forest tracks in Godewaersvelde, with a kilometre of road right in the middle. You’ll also follow the British military cemetery, a site commemorating the First World War, just before we arrive.

Route 6 – From the Mill to the Cosmos
In just a few kilometres, immerse yourself in a microcosm of nature through vineyards and campaign. After Baneberg, look up to see the route’s unique feature: the Cordoba cable car, the only one in Flanders, linking the slopes of Mont Rouge with those of Mont Noir. Save some energy for the end, where a long climb awaits you.

Circuit 7 – De Ronde
This cross-border route connects the From France to Belgium via Mont Rouge and Mont Noir. Beautiful forest paths lead you up to the heights of Saint-Jans-Cappel, then you follow the border before crossing more open meadows on your way to Westouter.
One final push will see you climb a few dozen metres to reach the start.

Route 8 – Between the mountains
Connect the Mount Kemmel at Red Mountain during a long ride through the heart of Belgian Flanders. This route showcases the diversity of the local landscapes, featuring superb trails through woodland and countryside, interspersed with a few sections on the road.
An invitation to take a journey through time, thanks to the memorials to First World War soldiers dotted along the route.

Route 9 – Through the vineyards
Set off on a short walk around the Mount Kemmel. The first kilometre covers nearly half the total elevation gain, after which the terrain becomes flatter, allowing you to lengthen your stride. This route suits all your needs: whether you’re looking to enjoy a run in the great outdoors or do interval training to improve your trail running skills.

Circuit 10 – A round of drinks for everyone!
A challenge for the seasoned athletes : 54 km and 1,091 m of elevation gain. This route crosses the cross-border mountain range of the Godewaersvelde à Kemmel, offering varied and challenging terrain for long-distance training.
With its steep climbs and stunning scenery, you’ll pass Marguerite Yourcenar Park, Mont des Cats Abbey, the Moulin de l’Ingratitude, hop fields and charming little chapels. A challenge for your legs, a feast for the eyes!

Route 11 – Reuze Trail
Departing from the village of Cassel, this varied route takes you along the paths and trails around Cassel and Mont des Récollets. With no technical difficulties and a relatively gentle gradient, it’s perfect for a trail run to explore Cassel.

Circuit 12 – Cassel Up & Down
Put on your shoes for this Up & Down circuit in the town of Kassel ! A short but non-stop ride where you’ll be constantly climbing and descending along the town’s beautiful trails and narrow streets.

Route 13 – Cassel Urban Trail
This urban trail run invites you to push your limits whilst enjoying the rich local heritage. From challenging climbs to picturesque stretches, you will discover Cassel and the surrounding area, across a wide variety of terrain.

Route 14 – TMC (Tour du Mont Cassel)
Departing from Cassel or Terdeghem, This route offers a long ride along a varied terrain. The more undulating terrain around Cassel contrasts with the flatter, more rolling terrain of the plains, providing an ideal mix for practising changes of pace.
You’ll enjoy the trails single tracks, staircases and alleyways in the town, as well as wide paths across the plains offering superb views of Cassel and the surrounding area.

Stage 15 – The Ultra-Flemish
This route runs between Saint-Jans-Cappel and Cassel is aimed at trail runners looking for an ultra-distance route ! A route where you’ll need to pace yourself carefully to tackle the fast sections as well as the steep climbs and the subsequent sprints on the Monts.

Stage 16 – The Diagonale de Flandre
Conquer every mountain with this ultra route that circles the Espace In Flanders Trails. In the footsteps of the Nord Trail Flanders Mountains, you’ll discover a route that offers little respite, where you’ll tackle one climb after another as you explore the unique features of the Monts de Flandres!
